Owen Ries, 74, waived his checkered flag on his final lap on Christmas Eve. He was the husband of the late Josephine McDermott Ries. Father of the late Sally Ries McClure (Dave McClure). He is survived by his daughter, Janet Ries (Mike Schultz) and his grand-daughters, Saraya and Shayla. He was built Ford Tough. Kudos my hero.
