Paul J. Montgomery September 28, 1940 - December 14, 2018

Paul J Montgomery passed peacefully at home in Milford, Ohio on December 14, 2018. He was born in College Hill, Cincinnati on September 28, 1940, and graduated from Hughes High School in 1959.Paul retired after 33 years with Butternut Bread. He often claimed he was the best bread man in Cincinnati. He was very proud of his accomplishment and enjoyed talking the business with his friends. Paul had a love of sports and played  baseball, golf, football and basketball while growing up. He enjoyed watching and talking sports with his friends and family. He also enjoyed music, especially the blues and watching live performances on television. Paul was the beloved husband of, Anne Auxier (nee Calvin); beloved father of, Larry and Thomas Montgomery; loving grandfather of, Eric, Chad, Sydney and Carley Montgomery; loving brother of, Sandy Ludwig and the late Beverly Gilbert. A gathering of friends will take place on Friday , January 4, 2018 from 12:00 PM until the Celebration of Life at 2:00 PM at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, 5950 Kellogg Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45230. Memorials in Paul’s name can be made to Crossroads Hospice or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
