Ronald J. “Jonathon” Block September 11, 1980 - February 6, 2022

Ronald “Jonathon” Block, 41, of Northern Kentucky, passed away on February 6, 2022, at his residence. He was born on September 11, 1980, in Cincinnati, OH to Ronald E. and Beverly (Johnson) Block. Jonathon graduated from Scott High School in Taylor Mill, KY in 1999.  He also attended Gateway Technical College and Cincinnati State University.  Jonathon worked for Gameworks and the Newport Aquarium for 8 years. Recently he was a slot technician at Hollywood Casino in Lawrenceburg, IN.  In Jon’s spare time, he enjoyed hiking, video games, and military history. Jon was also lead singer of local bands; Tridium and Mortal Aggression. He is survived by grandparents; Ronald L. and Janice (Ellis) Block, parents; Ronald E. and Shari (Dobson) Block, sister; Brandy (Nathan) McComas, and brother; Alex Block and 4 nephews. A gathering will be held on Thursday February 17, 2022, from 2-5pm at the Fares J. Radel Funeral Home at 5950 Kellogg Avenue, Cincinnati, OH. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Kentucky Chapter @ https://supporting.afsp.org/campaign/In-memory-of-Jonathon-Block.

A gathering will be held on Thursday February 17, 2022, from 2-5pm at the Fares J. Radel Funeral Home at 5950 Kellogg Avenue, Cincinnati, OH.

    I worked with Jon , he was highly intelligent and always willing to share his knowledge with others. I always looked forward to him coming in when I was there! My favorite memory of him is having a pinball machine opened up , and just being so excited to be able to mess and tinker with it. Very sorry for your loss 🙁
