Rose Ann “nee” Hartig Knapp, 66, of Melbourne, Ky, passed away on April 3, 2022 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. Rose was a retired employee of the former Good Shephard Home in Fort Thomas, Ky. Rose loved to travel and camp with her husband Ray Knapp. The two companions were regular snowbirds. Rose also loved to cook, garden and ride around on her golf cart. She is preceded in death by her parents, David and Freida (Schultz) Hartig, sister; Laura Enzweiler, and grandson; Levi Knapp. She is survived by Ray J Knapp; daughters, Annie (Beaver) Bacak and Tamara Knapp; sons, Craig and Raymond Jr (Tina) Knapp; brothers, Tim(Becky), Dave(Beverly), Ted(Amy), Pat(Barb) Hartig; sisters, Pauline(Tom) Richardson and Patsy(Charlie) Parker. Rose was a proud grandmother to sixteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Mass will be held at Saint Phillip Parish. (1402 Mary Ingles Hwy, Melbourne, Ky 41059) on Saturday April 23rd, at 11:00 am. There will be a celebration of life luncheon immediately following the mass.
