Sarah Renee Snouffer, age 44, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2026, at Parkside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born on January 27, 1981, in Mariemont, Ohio, Sarah spent her childhood and formative years in New Richmond, Ohio, where her roots were deeply planted. She is survived by her loving parents, Robert W. Snouffer, Jr. and Rena Snouffer; her beloved son, Ryan, the light of her life; and her dear sister, Marianne. Sarah now rests in peace, reunited with her brother, Robert W. Snouffer III, who preceded her in death. Sarah was one of the kindest and most generous souls one could ever know. She was a fiercely loyal friend, the kind of person who truly listened, remembered the small details, and made others feel deeply seen in ways that mattered. With a sharp, witty sense of humor and a deeply sentimental heart, she moved through the world with gentle grace. She possessed a vibrant, creative spirit and a rare ability to notice beauty where others might miss it. Like her spirit animal, the butterfly, Sarah carried the immense courage required to navigate life’s strongest winds.
Beneath that softness lived a woman of remarkable tenacity. Sarah was a woman on a mission. She was creative, determined, and gifted with the rare ability to turn intention into action. She was a woman of Christian faith who truly believed there was a divine purpose for her life, finding great comfort in trusting God’s plan above all else. Life tested her often, yet those challenges only strengthened her resolve and deepened her desire to plant beauty, peace, and hope wherever she could.
She found her greatest peace in nature, happiest by the water with a fishing rod in hand, her worries drifting far away. While she loved the outdoors, she loved her son more than anything in this world. A woman of incredible grit and even greater heart, Sarah found her ultimate happiness in her son, Ryan, who remained her proudest achievement and greatest joy until the very end.
Though a sudden brain bleed took her from us far too soon, Sarah passed as a woman who had fully reclaimed her life and found her way back to herself. She leaves behind a legacy of humor, resilience, and the powerful reminder that a heart of gold can survive even the fiercest fires.
In her memory, please take time to connect with nature, plant flowers, care for an animal in need, or extend grace to someone carrying heavy burdens. These were the quiet ways she healed the world.
The family will hold a private ceremony to honor Sarah’s life. We kindly ask for privacy and your continued prayers during this difficult time.

January 31, 2026 at 12:10 amRena – We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Sarah. We still laugh every time we think about the time the dog got sprayed by the skunk and we tried to get the smell off. May her memories last a lifetime for those she touched and prayers for everyone. Hugs from Roger and Scott
