Teresa B. Cronkhite

Teresa B. Cronkhite March 24, 1953 - July 21, 2025

Teresa B Cronkhite, 72 years old, transitioned on July 21, 2025 at her home in Pleasant Ridge, OH. She was born on March 24, 1953, in Crawfordsville, Indiana to the late Robert Cronkhite and Audry (Clore). Teresa, “Terry” known by some and “Tere” by others, graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s in Science Administration, embarking on an early career in genome sciences. She left that field to pursue art, earning a Master’s of Art from University of Cincinnati’s DAAP, later making way to become a trader in the finance sector. Her drive to learn and explore prompted travels both abroad and in the US, be it digging for gemstones in the Mountains of Utah, or digging into spiritual writings and practices including Quantum Physics, Buddhism, and Christianity. She enjoyed kayaking many a river and was a proud member of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary. Tere was preceded in death by her brother, Kim Cronkhite, her parents, and Gloria Riker, who was her loving partner and companion of 24 years before passing in 2018. They shared a special bond with animals, especially their own furry family members, Ginger doggie-dog (deceased) and Mr. Dakota.
