Thomas (Tom) Carr, 85, of Bellevue, KY, passed away on February 26, 2022, at University Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. Tom was born on November 24, 1936, in Williamstown, KY. Tom owned and operated Tom’s Book Nook in Bellevue, KY, until his retirement in 2007. Tom loved reading and was a loyal Kentucky Wildcat fan.
Tom is survived by his wife of 62 years, Elaine L. Carr. He is also survived by his brothers Richard Carr and Donnie (Brenda) Carr, sisters Betty Wheeler and Jackie Baker, sister-in-law Carol Lambert and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Lucille and Jack Carr and his brother Bruce Carr. Tom will also be missed by his beloved furry friend, Chalupa (aka Baby Girl).
A memorial service will be held at The First Baptist Church of Bellevue, KY, on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 12 PM. There will be a visitation beginning at 11 AM. For the protection of all, the family respectfully requests that those attending the memorial wear a mask.
