Victoria Jean Spicuzza, 77, of Covington, Kentucky, passed away on January 22, 2026, at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Edgewood, Kentucky.
Born Victoria Jean Moss on January 12, 1949, in Anderson, Ohio, she was the second of five children born to Jacqueline (Ott) and William Moss. She graduated from Anderson High School, Class of 1966, and went on to study at Ohio University before earning her Bachelor of Science in Education with a concentration in English from Kent State University.
Vicki enjoyed a diverse and fulfilling career that reflected both her intellect and her heart. She spent 18 years teaching high school English, more than a decade as a flight attendant with Comair, and most recently served her community with compassion as a counselor and victim’s advocate at The Ion Center in Covington, Kentucky.
More than anything, Vicki loved her family. She was a devoted mother to her four sons, Scott (Lindsay) May, Matthew Spicuzza, Sean Spicuzza, and Michael (Natalie) Spicuzza, and a proud and deeply adored “Mimi” to her eight grandchildren: Kate, Lily, Cassie, Abby, Calvin, Vinnie, Leo, and Luca.
Vicki was known for her sharp wit and unmistakable sense of humor. She loved a good laugh—and occasionally a little shock value—to keep things interesting and make sure no one took life too seriously. Her kitchen was another place where her love shone brightly. A fabulous cook, she believed food was meant to be shared and gatherings were meant to linger. Whether it was a holiday, a birthday, or “just because,” Vicki believed wholeheartedly in celebrating life’s moments, no matter how big or small.
An avid traveler, Vicki found great joy in exploring new places, cultures, and experiences. She approached the world with curiosity, warmth, and an open heart, always eager to learn, connect, and see life from a broader perspective.
Vicki was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Larry and Billy Moss; and her son, Sean Spicuzza. She is survived by her brothers, Randy Moss and Brian Moss; her remaining sons; her grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews who will forever cherish her humor, love, and unforgettable spirit.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 1pm until 2pm, with a memorial service to start at 2pm, at the Fares J. Radel Funeral Home-Kellogg. A celebration of life will follow, across the street, at Dead Low Brewing, from 3pm until 6pm.
