William A. Deaver, age 56, of Newport, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at his home.

He worked for Radac Corp for 24 years. William decided to change his career and attended Daymar College to study the paralegal profession. He graduated after two years of study and worked for a law firm for two years.

William found that desk work was not for him, so he went to work at DHL, loading planes, and working to become supervisor.

He enjoyed playing pool with friends, having fun, and just joking around. William loved playing PlayStation games on the weekend, grilling out in the summer, camping, fishing, and yearly trips to the fair with his wife, daughter, and granddaughter, and sometimes just quiet time alone.

William is survived by his wife of 37 years, Lisa Deaver; daughter Christina Deaver; granddaughter Bralynn Deaver; two sisters, Tiffany Rawe and Lindy Deaver; two brothers, James and Dan Deaver; three uncles, Roger, Cecil, and Daniel Brewer; aunt Mattie Hudson; two nephews, David and Chris Brewer; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, James W. Deaver, mother Linda Sue Mullins, sister Juanita Deaver, grandparents Arnold and Dovie Brewer, aunts Ramona McElfresh, Alice Nelson, and Darlene Logan.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026, from 12pm until 2pm at the Fares J. Radel Funeral Home-Newport. Funeral services will start at 2pm at the funeral home.
