William “Bill” R. Shannon, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2021, at the age of 81. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Robert and Versa Shannon. Bill was a graduate of Woodward High School and was highly respected and successful in the real estate industry in the Greater Cincinnati area, before retiring in the early 2000’s. He enjoyed golf, playing the guitar, horse racing, bird watching, and spending time with friends and family. Bill is survived by his loving wife, Janet Shannon, his children; Shawn Shannon (Paula), Debbie Tarr, Beth Heaton (Keith), Tammy Sandman (Steve), and his grandchildren, Amanda Moore, Jake Moore, Clare Heaton, and Bryan Heaton. He is also survived by brothers, Richard Shannon (Vicki), John Shannon, and Barry Shannon (Kathy). He was preceded in death by his brother Robert Shannon. Services will be held privately, at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
