Grace was preceded in death by her former husband, Charles M. Huddleston; her beloved son, Jamie Huddleston; and her brother, James Kroell.
She is survived by her loving children, Susan Stephens, Mark Huddleston, and Anne Huddleston; her cherished granddaughter, Melissa (Tony) Klar; her nephew, Terrence Kroell; her nieces, Lynn (Denny) Schalk and Dawn Scheuer; as well as numerous grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Grace attended the Cincinnati Academy of Commercial Arts, where she developed her lifelong passion for creativity. She went on to work as a fashion illustrator for Shillito’s, specializing in newspaper advertising artwork that brought style and elegance to life on the page. She continued painting throughout her life, and her home is filled with her artwork—a beautiful reflection of her talent, eye for detail, and love of expression.
A kind and loving woman, Grace found great joy in helping others. She dedicated her time to volunteering, including at Mote Marine Laboratory in Florida, the Secretary of the Covington-Cincinnati Suspension Bridge Committee and her local library. Whether through her art or her service, Grace had a quiet way of making the world around her better and brighter.
Grace will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She was truly one of a kind—a woman who earned the respect and admiration of everyone she met.
Visitation will be held at Radel Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., with mass following at St. Jerome’s Church at 10:00 a.m., and burial to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
