Patricia “Patti” Ann Howard (nee Wagner) 77, born July 23, 1948 passed away peacefully, at her home surrounded by loved ones in Highland Heights, Kentucky on Saturday April 18, 2026. Patti was a long-time resident of Newport Kentucky, nicknamed as “WILDCAT PAT”. Patti retired from Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Cold Springs, Ky.  Patti is preceded in death by her parents Dorothy “Pauline” Wagner and Charles “Pete” Wagner, sister Debra Gilardi and brother Terry Wagner.

Patti is survived by her loving husband James Edward Howard of 50 years, daughters LaDonna Scherpenburg (David), Dawn Howard-Fortney, and son Jason Howard; 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, sisters Donna Wagner, and Candy Raisor and brothers John (Brenda), and David (Melody) Wagner.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 4:00 p.m. at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, 822 York St. Newport, Kentucky.
