Shirley J. Creech, 72 of Newport passed away Sept 14 at St. Elizabeth Hospice Ft. Thomas. She was a care taker in the health care field. She is preceded in death by her son Jerry McKinney. Survived by her son William Brooks, 2 daughters Pam Porchia and Angie Hamilton, 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, brother Ralph Barrett and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Mon, Sept 19 from 5-8 pm at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, Newport. Services will be Tues, Sept 20 at 10am at the funeral home. Burial at Samuel Barrett Cemetery, Booneville, KY.
