Walter E. Stark, Jr. (Bud), age 81, passed away on November 7, 2025, at his home in Moscow, Ohio. He was born on January 12, 1944, in Springfield, Ohio to the late Walter and Rose Stark. Bud married his childhood sweetheart Sharon on February 22, 1964, in New Richmond, Ohio. Bud retired in 2001 from International Operating Engineers Union Local 18. He was a heavy equipment operator. In his spare time, Bud enjoyed working on his street rods, Harley Davidson motorcycles, and his land speed race car. He also enjoyed shooting sports, spending time with his family, and his pets. Bud is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Sharon (née Snider). He was the beloved father of 3 children Walter (Susan) Stark III, Gina (Jeremy) Dees, and Jennifer Stark. Bud was loved by 6 grandchildren, Luke, Lane, Michael (Kaela), Christoper, Rachel (Casey) and Zachary as well as 3 great-grandchildren, Walker, Saige and Sandy. The family has chosen a private ceremony of life.

I did not know Buddy personally too well. He was in my 8th grade English class at New Richmond School. He seemed like a nice kid. I think my brother, Kenneth, worked with him at times-Buddy in Operating Engineers and Kenneth in IBEW Electrics Union.
