Cathy E. Hazel September 16, 1948 - June 8, 2025

Cathy Eleanor McCracken Hazel entered into the presence of the Lord on June 8, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. She was 76 years old. Cathy lived with joy that couldn’t be dimmed. She lit up every room she walked into—her laughter, quick wit, and warm smile made people feel instantly at home. She was known for her vibrant presence, and the way she naturally drew others in. Being with Cathy felt like being wrapped in light and love. She was a loved and highly ranked Mary Kay consultant.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Whether you were family  or a friend of a friend, Cathy made you feel like you belonged. She didn’t just show up for others; she stayed. She listened. She loved. Her faith in Jesus Christ was the steady anchor of her life. In both joy and hardship, Cathy remained full of trust, hope, and compassion. She often prayed with those who were hurting and shared the love of Christ not just with her words, but with the way she lived— open-hearted, generous, and faithful.

Cathy is survived by her loving husband, whom she married while a senior in High School in March of 1966, Charley Hazel; her children, Robert (Bob) Hazel, Penny Hazel and Chantel
Hazel Diaz, her grandchildren, Ariana, husband Austin, Devin, Catelyn, Ty, Danny (Luis), wife Patty, Charley (Carlos), wife Alyssa and Selena, husband Isaiah, her great-grandchildren,

Charley and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Cathy was one of my very best friends for the last 40 years even though we lived far apart. She was an Angel to many and her genuine caring for everyone who came her way was precious. I know she loved her family deeply and was her number one priority. I will miss her very much. 🙏❤️
