Christina “Tina” Marie Gilb entered into the presence of the Lord on May 19, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. She was 73 years old.
Tina lived with joy that couldn’t be dimmed. She lit up every room she walked into—her laughter, quick wit, and warm smile made people feel instantly at home. She was known for her funny stories, her vibrant presence, and the way she naturally drew others in. Being with Tina felt like being wrapped in light and love.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend—someone who gave herself fully to the people in her life. Whether you were family or a friend of a friend, Tina made you feel like you belonged. She didn’t just show up for others; she stayed. She listened. She loved.
Her faith in Jesus Christ was the steady anchor of her life. In both joy and hardship, Tina remained full of trust, hope, and compassion. She often prayed with those who were hurting and shared the love of Christ not just with her words, but with the way she lived—open-hearted, generous, and faithful.
Tina is survived by her loving husband, James Gilb; her children, John Hayden Jr. and Heather Hayden (Thomas Valente); her stepchildren, Shae Taylor (Andy), Shane Hayden, and Michael Gilb; and her grandchildren, Isabella Valente, Gabriel Hayden, Alex DeVore, Makayla Taylor, Hayden Sander, and Liberty Hayden. Tina played a devoted and loving role in the daily lives of Isabella and Gabriel, offering her steady presence, encouragement, and care.
Tina is also survived by her siblings: Gina Lemker, Victoria (Michael) Coffey, Andrea (Alan) Bowsher, and Julie (Jorge) Hanke, David Levy; and her sister-in-law, Peggy Bishop, wife of her late brother Steven Bishop.
She was the daughter of the late Angela Bishop (married to John Bishop) and the late Ronald Vaughan.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Hayden, and her stepchildren Shaun and Shelly Hayden.
Private services will be held at a later date.
