Christine Barbara Hall September 17, 1943 - March 26, 2025

Christine Barbara Hall, age 81, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on March 26, 2025, surrounded by her husband and son. Chris was born on September 17, 1943, in Boston, Massachusetts to the late Robert & Lettie Oppen. Chris attended Sycamore High School in Montgomery, Ohio and graduated in 1961, while there she played Basketball, Field Hockey and was a Flyerette. On the court she was known as the “Big O”. Christine married Glenn Russell Hall on April 27, 1968. Her family was everything to Chris, first as a wife and mother to her son Kelly and later as Grandma to Caleb & Jacob.

Chris supported Glenn in all his businesses and their shared devotion to auto racing. Stereo-Pak was their first business, started in the late 60’s, that transitioned into the high performance automative shop and commercial machining business, named Hall Enterprises. Their passion for cars was both work and pleasure and they won the National Championship for their NHRA drag racing class in 1968. As Glenn moved to Indy Cars, Chris was happy to follow and enjoyed the excitement of the racetrack, meeting celebrities and making lifelong friends.

As Glenn added flying as a new hobby, Chris was not so sure she wanted to jump in as “co-pilot” but put her anxiety aside to fly with him (on occasion).

In 2005 Christine added Grandma to her resume and quickly became her most cherished role. Chris was always ready for a visit from her boys and enjoyed watching them grow into young adults. She especially loved cheering on The Ohio State Buckeyes and watching racing with them.

Chris is survived by Glenn, her loving husband of 56 years. Her son, Kelly (Jennifer), Grandsons, Caleb & Jacob. Brother-in-law, Gary Daniels, nephew Andrew Daniels, niece Sarah Palmer (Steve) and grandnephew John Palmer. Chris was preceded in death by her parents, sister Bonnie Daniels and grandson, Brayden Hall. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
