Fred Wenz, devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, passed away peacefully into heaven on Thursday, April 10, 2025. While our hearts are heavy, we remember his love, smiles, and laughter.
Born November 2, 1936, in Covington, Kentucky, to the late Fred and Blanche Wenz. Fred grew up in Southgate, Kentucky. He married Sandy on October 7, 1961, and they lived in Fort Thoams, Kentucky. Fred was a commercial printer and retired from Merten Printing Company. He enjoyed woodworking, golfing, fishing, and hunting.
Fred is survived by his wife Sandy, daughters Cindy (Ed) McDonald, Jenny (Larry) Wilson, son Freddie (Vicki) Wenz, granddaughter Natalie Wilson, grandson Larry Wilson, sisters Marlene Shea and Sharon (Norm) Obert.
Celebration of Life will be Saturday, April 26, 2025, at the Newport Elks, 3704 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring, Kentucky 41076, from 2pm until 6pm.
