Joan Mae Yingling, 89, passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loving children.
Born on March 7, 1936, in Middletown, Ohio. Joan was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Her unforgettable love left a profound impression on everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband William P. Yingling.
Joan is survived by her brother, Bramwell (the late Janice) Lanier, and her children: Teresa (Keith) Diebel, Pamela Sulgrove, Kathryn (Michael) Papasan, Melissa (the late Robert) Noble, David (Julie) Orick, Patricia (Rodney) Miles. She is also survived by her stepchildren: Thomas (Betty) Yingling, Chris (Steve) Denison, Beth (Steve) Senft, David (Vicky) Yingling, and the late Wm. Yingling III. She is also survived by a large and loving family of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was deeply loved by many and will be fondly remembered.
Joan had a gift for bringing people together. She was always the heart of the gathering-whether entertaining family at home or lighting up the room with her warmth. She loved to travel around the world, inspiring a spirit of adventure in those lucky enough to journey beside her.
She had a soft spot for casinos-especially video poker. She could spend hours at her favorite machines, happily handing out “Grandma Dollars” and sharing her playful spirit with everyone around her.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025, from 2:00-3:30 p.m., with a memorial service beginning at 3:30 p.m., at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home and Crematory, 5950 Kellogg Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45230.
