Anne Harris March 29, 1936 - April 9, 2023

Anne Harris passed away peacefully at the age of 87 on Easter, April 9th, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones. As she succumbed to Alzheimer’s disease, Anne did it with a smile on her face and never complaining. She was always very appreciative and thanked everyone for their help. Anne was born on March 29th, 1936, in Whitley, Kentucky, to the late Roger Scott Ivey and Mary Lynn Kersey. Anne attended Anderson High School, as well as her six children. She married Michael Martin Harris on May 21st, 1954, after a whirlwind courtship. They had just celebrated 68 wonderful years together before Mike’s death in June of 2022. Anne was a dedicated mother and grandmother, loving wife, and the accountant for the family business, Mike’s Body Shop, for over fifty years! In her spare time, she enjoyed bowling, bingo, and spending time with her family. We will all miss her sweet and funny personality. Anne is survived by her six children, Ann (Missy) Harness (Dale), Michelle Bray, Kim Ayers (Henry), Chrissy Collet (Pierre), Melissa Morton (Chris), and Mike Harris (Lisa). She was preceded in death by her son in law, Doug Bray. Anne is also survived by 14 grandchildren, Rich Moeckel, Lindsey Blume (Mike), Tony Koch (Andrea), Ryan Koch (Heather), Candis Carter (Michael), Courtney Ayers (Devon), Anna Collet, Eric Collet (Lily), Christine Collet, Cody Morton, Jake Morton, Samantha Tidball (Connor), and Britney Harris, and one sister, Shirley Lykins. She was also survived by 17 great grandchildren. Anne was preceded in death by her granddaughter Ashley Harness, and sisters Margret (Margie) Starkey and Hannah Ruth Campbell. A gathering will be held on April 21st, 2023, from 5pm until 6pm at the Fares J. Radel Funeral Home-Kellogg, with funeral services to follow at 6pm. The family suggests memorial donations be made in Anne’s name to Hospice of Cincinnati and the Alzheimer’s Association.
