Ina Alice Hood (nee Vann) passed away peacefully on March 8, 2019 at age 82. She was the beloved wife of Thomas Hood for 62 years. She graduated from Deaconess Hospital as an R.N. and worked at Deaconess, Booth Memorial and Good Samaritan Hospitals for many years. Ina was preceded in death by her parents, James and Margaret Vann, and her beloved sister Judy and brother Jim. She is survived by her husband, Tom, sister Connie, brother Tom, daughter Laura (Peter) Albrecht, son Ty, and son Glenn (Denise). Her beloved grandchildren include Petey and Ellen (Groneck) Albrecht, and Kenlee and Colton Hood. Family, friends, and others whose lives were touched by Ina and her unforgettable laugh are invited to her celebration of life on Sunday, March 17, 2019 at 1:00 at Carnegie Hall Newport. Colorful attire encouraged. As an expression of sympathy, memorials may be sent to the American Stroke Association.
