John August “JD”, Jr. 61 of Newport passed away at home, Aug 30. John served our country in the Navy as a boiler technician. He is preceded in death by his father Jack Dunaway and brother William Dunaway. Survived by his loving mother Marjorie Hacker, sons Clinton Dunaway and Joshua Dunaway, daughter Racheal Dunaway, grandson Kenyail Hensley, sisters Judy (Dean) Sweeney and Susan Dunaway, brothers Joseph (Pat) Dunaway, Gregory (Sharyl) Dunaway and James Dunaway and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Fri, Sept 4 from 5pm until time of service at 7pm at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, Newport.

I just googled my friend JD., to see what ever happened to him and his obituary came up. He was a very nice person and l had some fun time’s with JD. He was alway’s good to me what time l was around him. He was a good hearted person and I’m very sad to learn that my friend JD has passed away but l know he is in a better place now. I got to know him after his divorce and about the time Clinton was about 12 year’s old. He was very hurt over his divorce and he had a pretty hard time dealing with that, but don’t we all, l had a hard time dealing with mine too. I will alway’s remember his ind heart and l loved to hear him laugh. I love JD, may you rest in peace. I look forward to seeing you again when l get to the other side.😢
