Leslie Ellen Worsinger July 4, 1958 - February 17, 2022

Leslie passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on February 17, 2022. She was proceeded in death by her parents William and Betty Worsinger and her stepmother Janet Worsinger. She is survived by her sister Carol Worsinger (Luke Smith) and her brothers Jeffrey W. Worsinger and Jeffrey M. Worsinger (Britta).

Leslie was born in Philadelphia but moved to Cincinnati in 1972 at the age of 14 and remained in the Cincinnati area for the remainder of her life, having worked at the U.S. Postal Service for over 30 years.

She had an immense heart for people and all living creatures combined with a stubbornness and self-determination that few could match. The number of brothers and sisters she supported, and from whom she received support, in the recovery community are far too numerous to list. This is where her heart was and where she lived.

We would be remiss not to mention one special person and that is her “sister by love” and dear friend: Stacey Boaz. Stacey was a friend to Les like no other and Les loved Stacy and her family dearly.

Leslie’s passions included animals of all types, in particular her pets, and sports. Leslie had many pets over the years and loved them all as they were her family too. She loved sports in general, but Major League Baseball in particular. Les was a fine athlete in her youth and remained a sports fan her entire life.

For those related to her, those who knew her well and to those whose lives intersected with hers: we are devastated beyond words. We will miss her for the rest of our lives.
