It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Thomas Daniel Routte, 63 who entered eternal rest on Thursday, October 4, 2023 in Florence, KY. He was born on April 15, 1960 in Elizabethtown, KY. He is preceded in death by his parents Captain Elize T. Routte, Jr. and Betty Jane Carroll and infant brother Teddy Routte. Tom is survived by his son Jeremy Blake Routte, brothers Timothy and Terry Routte, sisters Deborah Routte, Diana (the late John) Schwartze and Denise Pickerell and many nieces and nephews. Tom was an avid Dallas Cowboy football fan and UK basketball fan. He loved bass fishing. Anyone who was blessed to know Tom, knew that he was the kindest, most loving and sweetness man, who had boundless love. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A memorial mass of Christian Burial will be held at a later date at St. James Catholic Church in Elizabethtown, KY.
