POWELL
Thomas E, 75 of Ft. Thomas, KY (formerly Norwood, OH) passed away Aug 18 at Christ Hospital. Tom was a longtime dentist in Norwood, OH and an entertainer. He is preceded in death by his parents, William H. and Colette G. Powell, brother William Powell, sisters Mary M. Powell and Patricia A. Johannigman. Tom is survived by his longtime companion and friend Timothy A. Barnes, brother James (Glenna) Powell and many nieces and nephews. Tom attended Purcell Marion High School, Xavier University and graduated from Ohio State University Dental School. Tom owned Tom Powell’s Funeral Parlor Nightclub, restored and owned Weidemann mansion, was a member of the Friars Club in New York and past president of the International Brotherhood of Magicians. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Leukemia Assoc or to Purcell Marion High School Scholarship Fund. Visitation will be held Friday, Aug 23 from 10:30 am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am at Holy Trinity Church, Norwood. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Fares J.
