Velma Carole Spawn January 31, 1943 - November 6, 2018

Carole Spawn went to Heaven on Tue., Nov. 6th 2018 in Knoxville, Tennessee.  She was born on January 31st, 1943 in Newport, KY to John and Velma Graf. She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands – Carl E Marschke and Fred Spawn. She lived her life in Indianapolis, IN where she graduated from Beech Grove High School. A graduate of Indiana Central University, she pursued a career in art education while raising her three boys. In 1983, she relocated to Camdenton, MO where she later retired from teaching in 2004. Velma used her passion of art to spread joy and connect with everyone she met. Her smile was infectious and her love for her family was unconditional. She is survived by her younger brother, John Graf of Greenwood, IN; her sons – Mark Marschke of Sunrise Beach, MO, Matthew Marschke of Edwardsville, IL, Daniel and wife Jenny Marschke of Knoxville, TN; her stepson, Steve Lee and wife, Peg of Camdenton, MO; 12 grandchildren: Shaylyn Marschke, Dillon Marschke, Kayla Marschke, Corbin Marschke, Kevin Marschke, Gage Webb, Jerin Kaldenberg, Jialana Kaldenberg, Casey Lee, Trevor Lee, Angelee Sanchez and Megan Soukup.  Also surviving are 7 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held for friends and family at the Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, 822 York St, Newport, KY on November 17 from 12 to 2 PM. Service will begin at 2PM, followed by procession to Persimmon Grove Cemetery
