Agnes Marie Alldred (Binder), age 80, of Cold Spring, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2023. She was born on April 18, 1943, the late daughter of Eugene and Gabriella Binder. Agnes worked for Arthur Utrect, MD, for 12 years, Shriners Hospital for 18 years, and Children’s Hospital for 10 years. She is survived by her grandson, Stone Antoun; granddaughter Destinee Antoun; great granddaughters Joselynn Haynes and Ayris Julick. Agnes was preceded in death by her son, James Antoun and her husband, Ed Alldred. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 11, 2023, from 5pm until 7pm at the Fares J. Radel Funeral Home-Kellogg. Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at 10:30am, at St. Anthony of Padua Maronite Church, with Father George Hajj officiating. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Anthony of Padua Maronite Church, 2530 Victory Parkway, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45206.

September 10, 2023 at 12:04 pmAggie had an incredible singing voice and a devoted career of singing for her church and in musicals and for others. Her voice had a lilting vibrato in the style of Maria Callas. Her “Ave Maria” was heavenly. Aggie also spent much of her time and her life caring for others, cooking for others (she was the best cook in the tri-state area!), and being a surrogate mother, sister and aunt for family members and non family members. She had a strong opinion and would let you know what she thought! She was also the prettiest of the Binder women in our family!

Her love of animals led me to adopt a large rabbit that wandered into her yard. She knew that my husband and I raised rabbits and she wanted ’Peter’ to have a good home. She looked out for others and loved her family fiercely. My condolences to her family. She will be missed.
